The young disciples are a group of teens ages 13 yrs – 18 yrs, who are called to be disciples – followers of Chirst. The purpose of the Young Disciples is to encourage and strengthen the relationship our teens have with Christ. We do this b coming together as one, working as a family and acting as the Body of Christ. Some of our outreach activities include yearly “Lock-Ins”, School Suppl Give Away and serving meals to a local shelter. Along with our outreach endeavors, we have monthly events and activities that range from bowling, skating, laser tag, to trips to Elitch Gardens. We have tons of fun in Christ! It is our goal to prepare our youth to face the world with Christ at their side. We create opportunities for teens to receive their driver’s permit and equip them with resources to find jobs and/or funding for school. In Sunday School, we tackle the hard topics today’s teens encounter with allowing God’s word to be our guide and then applying His word to our lives. We want to prevent hardships that teens face by “Speaking On It!” and educating through the Bible.
